Virginia Beach -- Pancake Wheel (www.PancakeWheel.com) is pleased to announce that during 2006 the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted major patent protection to Pancake Wheel's unique designs
for hitch mounted cargo carriers as well as bicycle towed children's trailers, for one or two children.
Pancake wheel has applied its unique pivoting wheel axle technology to single or double children's carriers that may be towed behind bicycles.
Additionally, the patent protection includes the type of child carriers that may be pushed rather then towed behind another wheeled device. The carrier devices that are towed or hitched to another bicycle can be an open cargo carrier or an enclosed child carrier.
Pancake Wheel believes that its pivoting wheel axle technology and other attributes of the patent protection will allow it to commercially sell the
world's thinnest fold flat bicycle trailers or child carriers that are connected to other wheeled devices. The fold flat technology applies to bicycle trailers, bike trailer strollers, tandem bike trailers,
double bike trailers towable children carriers and similar products.
Pancake Wheel has not yet arranged for commercial sales of the new designs in the U.S.A.
