Pancake Wheel Obtains Third U.S. Patent on World's Thinnest Folding

Virginia Beach--Pancake Wheel ( www.PancakeWheel.com ) announces that the United States patent office has granted it additional patent protection in 2006 on the world's thinnest folding jogging stroller technology, providing additional patent protection for folding frame designs.
In 2004, Pancake Wheel was granted patent protection on unique folding
wheel jogging stroller designs, which included a new and unique foreword wheel folding system, as well as a special rear axle folding system. Pancake's joggers fold flat to about 7 inches thin, even using 16
inch pneumatic tires.
In 2006 additional US patents were granted, which outlined centerfolds on
jogging strollers as well as refinements to the world's thinnest jogger stroller already granted protection in 2004.
Market research by Pancake Wheel has shown that parents are buying baby
jogging strollers in increasing numbers and seek to have easy portability for their jogging strollers. Conventional jogging strollers require parents to detach wheels in order to compactly stow the baby
jogger.
Pancake Wheel's design have attacked this from a completely different perspective, providing a compact jogging stroller that requires the detaching of no parts or wheels. Pancake baby joggers easily fit in a car trunk, and also stow flat along any wall or on a hanging hook. Pancake has now been granted three separate United States patents and other international patents are pending.
Moreover, twin jogging strollers (also called double jogger strollers) are
especially bulky and difficult for parents to maneuver and stow.
The Pancake Wheel design also provides that twin jogging strollers may be folded to no more than 7 inches thin, and parents need remove no tires like on the other jogging strollers available commercially. Additionally, the Pancake Wheel designs are lightweight, compact, and only take seconds to set up and fold down.
The Pancake Wheel jogging strollers are not yet commercially available in
the United States but Pancake Wheel is actively developing final designs for introduction in the United States and beyond.
