Virginia Beach, Virginia ——Pancake Wheel LLC (www.PancakeWheel.com) announces that the Pancake ® folding two wheel folding plastic cart
will be distributed beginning Summer 2006 by Compact Solutions Inc. (CSI) of Atlanta, Georgia. The Pancake ® compact fold up cart stows more compactly than any other (solid plastic) utility lawn/garden cart in the world and several U.S. patents have been granted for its innovative fold flat design, and further patents are pending in the U.S. and internationally. Numerous metal and flexible fabric cart products sold commercially "fold" or stow in some way, but none with a solid base fold flat--without detachable parts—as do the Pancake designed lawn and garden/utility carts

Rick Shapiro, designer/inventor was granted his first U.S. patent
in 2001 on a unique "pivoting wheel assembly" which provided for utility carts and wagons to have their wheels fold flat inside the product. Pancake has been developing a broad spectrum of consumer wheeled
products, all adapting Shapiro's "pivoting wheel assemblies" including wheelbarrows, jogging strollers, carts and several wagon products.
The plastic compact cart folds to about 8 inches thin, allowing
the full size cart to stow inside most car trunks. Its application and uses extend to marine, boating, fishing, camping, travel, lawn and garden, art shows/flea markets and similar.
Compact Solutions Online plans to sell the Pancake "compact
cart" design under the trade name "Hideaway Cart" initially online at www.compactsolutionsonline.com and then through various distribution sources.
